Saw Milling Services
I run a small scale sawmill based in the cotswolds near cirencester, I have a mobile Woodmizer lt40 super hydraulic as well as a chainsaw alaskan mill . these give the ability to tackle most milling projects, big or small. take a look at some of the services below to see if they would work for what your after, if not please get in touch to discus what your after. Aswell as this, if you have a tree that you would love to be able to be milled then turned into something (furniture, structure, anything else you can think of!) then that’s something I can do to.
Bandsaw Milling
I run a Woodmizer LT40 mobile hydraulic bandsaw mill, this a a highly efficient, productive mill that can be towed behind my truck to set up on site. it also has a setworks computer making it highly accurate.
the mill can be set up most places that are fairly level but haven’t got to be perfect.
ideally if there are many logs some kind of machinery is required (telehandler/tractor/digger/etc ) if not available though we can hire a suitable machine.

Chainsaw milling
The chainsaw mill ideal for slabbing logs anywhere from 2ft to 7ft. the mill is extremely portable and can go almost anywhere, if you can walk there we can mill it!
as standard we can mill up to a 56” diameter log however can mill up to 78” at an extra cost. perfect for logs that would otherwise be inaccessible to any other type of mill or just to large to be moved and fit on other mills.happy to travel anywhere in the uk
Timber
I have a wide and varied range of English hardwood slabs and planks for sale, mostly all sourced from fallen trees, trees being taken down for safety reasons or logs saved from being chipped.
I have over 15 species in all different sizes so if your after timber for a project please get in touch to see if i’ve got something that might work.
