My story

I’m a 20 year old woodworker based in the Cotswolds.

I've been making things my whole life, as a young child I only ever played with toy tools or made things from paper and cardboard. I got a set of hand tools when I was 6 and set up a small workshop. when I was 11 I started collecting power tools, I got a miter saw, sander and router for my birthday and christmas and have gone from there, spending all the money I've made on more tools, materials and machinery.

when I was 16 I built a cabin that was filmed for George Clarkes amazing spaces making me the youngest builder ever on there show, I was then asked to go on the show again for the next series building another small space.I’ve always loved building small structures and spaces and it’s something I want to move towards doing more of.

after I left school I did a level 3 city and guilds in furniture making at rycotewood furniture whilst starting to run my business.

What I do now

I now do this full time working on everything from large production orders to one off pieces. making indoor and outdoor furniture, cabins and more

another large part of what I do is saw milling, most of the wood I use is milled by me, mostly from fallen salvaged trees. I will also often mill trees for customers, dry the wood and turn it into something they want or need as a way to reuse and remember their tree.
